Dynamic disks are not supported on clusters.
HP Laptops have 4 drives in original factory condition
– SYSTEM
– C Drive (Windows)
– D Drive (Recovery)
– HP_TOOLS
Windows 7 Home supports only 4 drives
Make sure you have 3 partitions before creating 4th 😉
So first you need to create recovery disks using Recovery Media Creation…
Take 5 DVDs for recovery process
then you can delete D drive
Now you have 3 drives …
Try Shrink Volume now 😉
Format and assign drive letter
Finally you have D Drive ready
